It’s not something to “overcome”.

That’s the first thing that you have to understand about bereavement. The heart ache, questions, longing, anxiety and anger that come with grief continue to exist. This is because death changes you permanently. Instead of trying to move past a loss, you should focus on a healthy way to live with the loss and progress through grief.

I can attest to the fact that progression for me, has been a physical and psychological process through and through. But the true breakthrough for me, has been focusing on what is in my mind and accepting that bereavement is about progress through grief, not recovery. Somedays are harder than others, and it’s important to know and accept that there are many layers for you to work through. One way to improve your mental health is to incorporate exercise into your routine, exercise can benefit mental health obstacles such as:

  • anxiety
  • depression
  • grief
  • BPD
  • stress

If you have lost somebody, or if you are going through a stressful time right now, I hope to support you on this journey so that we can progress through grief together..
