Your Hero’s Journey

It may be difficult to see yourself as the hero of your story when life hasn’t been that kind to you, however this 12 step exercise is a great way to reflect on where life has taken you, to give you hope on what the future might hold.

In most super hero movies, like all of us the hero is usually an ordinary person, who is faced with life’s trials. Imagining our life like a story helps us point to the things that lie beyond our rational understanding of our life.

No matter where you are on your grief journey, this exercise may be able to help you to make sense of your life, the good and bad moments included.
